Stock Replenishment MRP BoM Selection
This module adds a wizard for replenishment cases that have the product manufacturing route marked as a route. This wizard allows to establish which quantity to create and with which bill of materials to manufacture it.
auto_awesome What this module does
AI-generated from the code · Odoo 19.0When you replenish a product that is manufactured, Odoo now opens a wizard where you choose which bill of materials to use and how many units to produce with each one.
This module changes what happens when you press the replenish button on a reordering rule (stock.warehouse.orderpoint) for a product that is manufactured.
- The wizard only appears for manually triggered reordering rules where the product has candidate bills of materials. Automatic rules keep the standard behaviour.
- In the wizard you see the product, the quantity to order and a list of the available bills of materials. For each bill of materials you can enter how many units to produce, and Odoo shows the maximum quantity that can be produced with the raw material stock available, plus the production time.
- A totals area shows the total quantity to produce and the quantity remaining to produce, so you can split the order across several bills of materials.
- An information button next to each bill of materials opens a pop-up listing the components and their available quantity, so you can check material availability before confirming.
- On confirm, Odoo creates the manufacturing orders for each bill of materials with the quantities entered, and keeps the remaining quantity on the reordering rule. It refuses to continue if nothing is entered or if you try to produce more than the quantity to order.
The wizard screens are only available to users with inventory manager rights.

terminal Installation and usage
OCA documentation · Odoo 19.0Usage
Source · Odoo 19.0- Go to "Inventory / Operations / Replenishment"
- Create or use a record with the "Manual" trigger whose product is manufactured (either with the manufacturing route set explicitly, or resolved by default because the product has bills of materials).
- Click on the "Order" button of the line, and the wizard should open.
- Optionally use the information icon of each line to check the on hand quantity of the raw materials of that bill of materials.
- Set the quantity you want to produce with each bill of materials. The pending quantity is shown as "Quantity Remaining to Produce".
- On confirmation, one manufacturing order per filled line will be created, and the remaining quantity will stay in the replenishment record.
Automatically triggered records are not affected: they keep the standard Odoo behavior, as their quantity to order is always the computed one.
