Google Marker Icon Picker

This module extends the Google map view provided by the web_view_google_map module. It does not add any new database model or menu; instead it adds a new field widget that can be used on text (char) fields.

When a field uses this widget, the user sees the current marker image and a small dropdown arrow. Clicking the arrow opens a panel showing 20 colored marker images (aqua, blueviolet, blue, brown, deepskyblue, fuchsia, gold, gray, green, indigo, limegreen, lime, maroon, navy, olive, orange, purple, red, teal and yellow). Selecting one immediately stores the color name in the field.

The widget works both when the record is being edited and when it is only being read, so the chosen marker color is always visible. The module also hooks into the Google map renderer so that, when the map library is set to geometry, marker icons are loaded from this module's own image folder, which is what makes the colored markers appear on the map.

All of this happens in the web client; no server-side business rules, scheduled actions or emails are added. The only configuration needed is to set the widget on the desired char field in a form or map view.
