Website Event Selection Filters

On the public events page, visitors get a new filter area at the top with dropdown selectors instead of only the classic left-column links. Each selector updates the list of events as soon as a value is chosen.

• When: choose a date period; the number of matching events is shown next to each option.
• Country: choose a country, or pick "Online Events" to see events without a country.
• City: choose a city; an "All Cities" option clears the city filter.
• Event Type: choose an event category.

Each option shows how many events match, and the counts are recalculated depending on the other filters already applied, so the numbers stay consistent. A city breadcrumb is added to the page when a city filter is active.

The module also adds an optional "Filter by City" block to the classic left column of the events page, which can be enabled or disabled from the website editor like the other filter blocks. The same editor lets you show or hide the new selector filters individually.

Technically, it stores the city of each event (taken from the event address) so events can be grouped and filtered by city, and it extends the events page controller to build the city list and the filtered results.
