Website Delivery Group

This module adds a new concept called a delivery carrier group, which is simply a named container for shipping methods. You create groups (for example "Standard" or "Express") and assign each shipping method to one of them.

Where it appears in Odoo: - A new menu "Shipping Methods Groups" under the eCommerce settings area, where you can create, rename, reorder and describe groups. - On each shipping method record, a new "Group" field is available in the form, list and search views, and you can filter or group the shipping method list by group.

What changes for customers: - On the website checkout delivery step, shipping methods are displayed inside collapsible sections, one per group, with the group name as the section title and its description shown underneath. - The section containing the currently selected shipping method is opened automatically; otherwise the first group is opened. - Shipping methods that have no group are shown together in a section labelled "Ungroupped". - If no shipping method has a group at all, the checkout falls back to the normal flat list.

Groups have a sequence number so you control the order in which the sections appear. The module touches the delivery.carrier model and introduces the delivery.carrier.group model.
