WMS

This module is a central entry point for warehouse management options. It adds a top-level WMS application menu, visible to stock managers and stock users, with a WMS submenu and a Configuration submenu reserved for stock managers.

Under Configuration, a Settings entry opens the general settings form filtered on this module. There, managers find a WMS section with checkboxes that install or enable extra warehouse capabilities:

• Show operations completion details on the current document.
• Vertical lift integration for Kardex hardware.
• Reservation rules by location for advanced reservation and removal strategies.
• Routing of an extra operation with a different picking type depending on the source location.
• Put-away rules, recursive put-away rules, and ABC chaotic storage put-away.
• Put-away constraints: only empty bins, and filtering bins by matching tags.

Each checkbox is a standard Odoo module switch, so ticking it installs the corresponding feature. The module also changes user rights: every internal user automatically receives the multi-locations, multi-warehouses and advanced location groups, so those stock options are active by default. It builds on the stock, location zone, location attribute and bin name modules, and only touches the settings screen and menus; no new business documents or reports are created here.
