Modules in the repository

  • base_default_lang_translate

Lets you pick one installed language as the "default language" used as the source for translations, so edits made in that language are also stored as the base value and other translations are flagged for review.

  • External Database SourcesOdoo 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19
    base_external_dbsource

Lets administrators register connections to external databases (currently PostgreSQL) and test them from Odoo. Other modules can then run queries or read/write records on those external databases.

  • External Database Source - MSSQLOdoo 12, 13, 15, 16, 18
    base_external_dbsource_mssql

Adds Microsoft SQL Server as a connectable external database type in Odoo, so users can configure MSSQL connections and run SQL queries against them from the External Database Sources screen.

  • External Database Source - MySQLOdoo 12, 13, 15, 16, 17, 18
    base_external_dbsource_mysql

Adds MySQL as a connector option for external database sources in Odoo, so users can connect to and query a MySQL database from the External Database Sources screen.

  • base_external_dbsource_sap_hana

Adds SAP HANA as a connector option when creating external database sources in Odoo, so users can query SAP HANA databases directly from Odoo.

  • External Database Source - SQLiteOdoo 12, 13, 15, 16, 17, 18
    base_external_dbsource_sqlite

Adds SQLite as a connector option on external database sources, so Odoo can connect to SQLite files and run SQL queries against them.

  • Base External SystemOdoo 12, 13, 15, 16, 18
    base_external_system

Lets administrators register connections to external systems (host, port, credentials, keys) and test them from Odoo. It is a technical foundation other modules use to talk to remote servers.

  • base_external_system_http

Lets Odoo talk to external web services over HTTP(S): you register an external system with its host, port and path, define named endpoints, and the module sends GET, POST, PUT and DELETE requests and tests the connection.

  • base_external_system_odoorpc

Adds a new external system type that lets Odoo connect to another Odoo instance over RPC. Users configure the remote server's database, host, port, credentials and SSL, then test the connection from the form.

  • Base Global DiscountOdoo 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19
    base_global_discount

This module lets you define global discount records (name, percentage, sales or purchases scope, company) and assign them to customers or suppliers. It also adds a per-product option to exclude a product from global discounts.

  • Group backendOdoo 16, 18
    base_group_backend

Adds two new user types, "Backend user" and "Backend UI user", that can log into the Odoo backend with a much smaller, controlled set of menus and data access than the standard Internal User.

  • base_ical

Lets administrators publish read-only calendar feeds (.ics URLs) from any Odoo model, and lets users subscribe to those calendars from their profile.

  • Base Import MatchOdoo 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18
    base_import_match

Lets you define matching rules so that CSV imports update existing records instead of creating duplicates, based on fields like VAT, email or name rather than the external ID.

  • Portal typesOdoo 16, 18
    base_portal_type

Lets administrators create different types of portal users by defining portal-type groups, so portal access can be tailored (for example vendors versus customers) using Odoo's normal group mechanism.

  • base_suspend_security

This module lets developers run Odoo code without access rights and record rules being checked, while keeping the original user as the author of the changes. It is a technical helper used by other modules, not a screen users work with.

  • base_user_effective_permissions

Adds an "Effective permissions" button on the user form that opens a list showing, per model, whether the user can create, read, write or delete records and the record rules that restrict those operations.

  • User rolesOdoo 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19
    base_user_role

Lets administrators define reusable user roles that bundle several access groups, assign them to users (optionally with start and end dates), and automatically keep each user's groups in line with their roles.

  • base_user_role_activity

Automatically creates a reminder activity on a user's contact when one of their role assignments is about to expire, and removes it when the role is extended or deleted.

  • User roles by companyOdoo 12, 14, 16, 17, 18, 19
    base_user_role_company

Lets you assign a user role to a specific company, so a role only becomes active when the right company (or companies) are selected. Adds a Company field on each role line in the user form.

  • Base User Role HistoryOdoo 12, 13, 16, 17, 18, 19
    base_user_role_history

This module keeps a history of every change made to the roles assigned to users. From a user's form you can open a smart button showing who changed which role, when, and what the old and new values were.

  • User profilesOdoo 12, 14, 18
    base_user_role_profile

Lets administrators group roles into profiles and lets users switch between their allowed profiles from the top bar, so the active roles (and therefore menus and permissions) change instantly.

  • base_user_role_profile_example

This is a demonstration module that shows how user profiles and roles work in Odoo. It creates example profiles (Merchant, HR, ERP Settings) and assigns them to the demo user so you can see how permissions are grouped.

  • pglogicalOdoo 12
    pglogical

This module makes Odoo replicate database structure changes (like creating or altering tables) to configured pglogical replicas, so replicated databases stay in sync with the main one.

  • Server Actions - NavigateOdoo 12, 13, 14, 16, 17, 18, 19
    server_action_navigate

Adds a new "Navigate" server action type that lets you jump from a selection of records to a list of related records, following a chain of relational fields.

  • server_action_sort

Adds a new 'Sort' option to Server Actions so you can automatically renumber the lines of any one-to-many list (for example sale order lines) according to criteria you choose.

Data imported from GitHub: every listed version is confirmed (branch, module directory and installable manifest checked on the review date). Active support and OCA certification are not assessed.
