Purchase Analytic Default

When you pick a product on a purchase order line, this module looks up the analytic default rules and, if a matching rule exists, fills the analytic account on that line for you. This saves you from selecting the analytic account manually on every purchase line.

The matching is based on the product, the vendor of the purchase order, the current user, today's date and the company of the purchase order. It relies on the analytic default configuration that already exists in Odoo (the account.analytic.default model), so the rules you maintain there are the ones that drive the result.

• Appears on purchase order lines: the analytic account field is set automatically when the product changes.
• Only fills the analytic account when a matching default rule is found and that rule has an analytic account defined.
• Does not overwrite anything if no rule matches.
• Works together with the standard analytic default and purchase modules, and installs automatically when both are present.

It touches the purchase.order.line model and reads from account.analytic.default. No new menus, reports or scheduled actions are added.
