Account Analytic Organization

This module adds a simple reference list called Analytic Organization, where each entry has a name and a company. You manage this list from a new menu item under Accounting > Configuration > Analytic Accounting, and only users with analytic accounting rights can create or change entries; other users can only read them.

On every contact form, a new "Analytic Organization" field appears next to the VAT field. You can pick one organization per contact, and only organizations belonging to the current company are offered. When a contact has an organization, its displayed name is shown as "Contact name (Organization)".

Because of this tag, analytic lines and journal items automatically display the organization of their related contact. The field is read-only there and is filled in automatically, so you do not type it twice. In the analytic lines and journal items lists you can search by organization and use a group-by filter to total amounts per organization.

No automatic emails, scheduled jobs or extra validation rules are added; the module only adds the reference data, the contact field and the related display, search and grouping options.
