This module allows to reorganize customers debts in case of difficult financial conditions in order to spread the debts over a longer period of time. The module can also be used in a similar way for the user's company in case their suppliers offer them the opportunity to discuss a clearance plan.

One can decide the debts to be part of the clearance plan (all partner's debts or some of them only) and split this amount into new financial commitments at new dates. Please notice that one clearance plan = one payable/receivable account.

AI-generated from the code · Odoo 12.0

Lets accountants reorganize a customer's or supplier's open debts into a new payment plan with new due dates, by creating a single journal entry that replaces the selected open items.

This module adds a Clearance Plan tool for accountants who need to reschedule debts. From a customer invoice or from selected journal items, an accountant can open the Clearance Plan wizard and split the total open amount into several new commitments, each with its own label, amount and due date.

The wizard only works on items from exactly one partner and one account, and that account must be of type receivable or payable. It automatically fills the total amount to allocate from the open residual amounts and shows how much is still unallocated as lines are added. Amounts must be positive, and the plan can only be confirmed when nothing is left unallocated.

On confirmation, Odoo creates a new journal entry in the chosen journal, reverses the selected open items and adds the new clearance plan lines, posts the entry and reconciles everything together. The user is then taken to the created journal entry.

In Settings, under Invoicing, a Clearance Plan section lets you set a default journal and a default label for the new lines. The wizard is available to accounting managers from invoices and journal items.
