Account Reconciliation Date

This module helps you keep track of the date on which invoices and payments were matched (reconciled) in Odoo.

• A new "Reconciliation Date" field is added to customer invoices, vendor bills and payments. It is shown on the invoice form right after the Invoice Date, and on the payment form right after the Payment Date. The field stays hidden until a date is set, so it does not clutter the screen for unreconciled documents.

• When a full reconciliation is created, the reconciliation date defaults to today's date. The module then automatically copies that date onto every related payment and journal entry involved in the reconciliation.

• The date is not copied when duplicating a document, so a new invoice or payment will not inherit an old reconciliation date.

• The module touches the account.move, account.payment and account.full.reconcile models. It does not add new menus or reports; it only extends existing invoice and payment screens.

This is useful for audits and reporting, because you can quickly see when a payment or invoice was actually matched, not just when it was issued or paid.
