Delivery Carrier Account

This module adds a new screen to keep the login details of your delivery carriers (for example a shipper account number and password) inside Odoo, instead of typing them again on every carrier.

• A new "Carrier Account" menu appears under the Delivery menu in Inventory. There you create accounts with a name, an account number, a password, an optional delivery method and an optional company.
• The list can be reordered by dragging, and the password is shown hidden on the form.
• On each delivery method (carrier) form, a new "Account" field lets you pick one of these accounts. It is hidden and not required for the simple carriers "fixed price" and "based on rules"; for integrated carriers it is required.
• The account you can pick is filtered to those matching the carrier's delivery method, so you cannot attach an account of the wrong carrier type.
• The chosen account is stored per company, so each company can use its own carrier login.
• A multi-company rule keeps carrier accounts private: users only see accounts belonging to their allowed companies or accounts with no company set.
• Warehouse users can read carrier accounts; only inventory managers can create, edit or delete them.
• When a transfer is processed, the system can retrieve the account linked to the carrier of that transfer, which is what shipping connectors use to authenticate.
