HR Employee Group Overview Readonly

This module creates a new access level called "Employees:- HR Overview Readonly" and an "HR Officer" group, both placed under the Employees category. Users given the read-only level can open employee records and see the personal information page, but the access rules only grant read permission, so they cannot modify, create or delete employee data.

On the employee form, extra buttons become visible to this read-only group: the time-off dashboard, the overtime allocation button, the contract history button, the employee cars button, and the attendance and overtime buttons. A "Cars" counter is also added to the employee record, showing how many vehicles are linked, visible to fleet managers and to the read-only group.

The module also adjusts existing security rules so that the new groups can read private contacts, skills, resumes, fleet vehicles, gamification challenges and badges, and attendance records, while keeping write, create and delete rights disabled for the read-only level. The HR Officer group receives broader read/write access to employee, department, job, contract, work entry, skill and gamification data.

In short, it lets HR overview users consult a wide range of employee-related information from the employee form without being able to change it.
