Expense Tax Adjustment

When you record an expense, Odoo normally calculates the tax automatically and you cannot change it. This module adds an editable "price_tax" field on the expense form, shown only when taxes are set on the expense and when the expense is still editable.

If you change the tax amount, the module remembers that the expense was manually adjusted (a hidden flag) and keeps your value instead of recalculating it. It then recalculates the expense total so the difference is reflected, and when the expense is posted it adjusts the related accounting move lines so the tax and expense amounts in the journal entry match your corrected figure.

• The tax amount field is visible on the expense form next to the taxes field.
• Automatic recalculation of the tax amount stops once you have adjusted it manually.
• The expense total is updated to include the corrected tax.
• Accounting entries created from the expense are adjusted accordingly, including currency conversion when the expense currency differs from the company currency.
