Skills Management

This module adds a Skills tab to the employee form where you can list the skills of that employee and pick a level for each one. Levels are Junior, Intermediate, Senior and Expert, shown as a priority-style selector. The same employee cannot be given the same skill twice: Odoo blocks duplicates with the message "This employee already has that skill!".

A skill catalogue is available under the Human Resources configuration menu (visible to technical users). Each skill has a name, a description, a colour, an active/archive flag and an optional parent skill, so you can build a hierarchy of skills and sub-skills; the full name is built automatically from the parent chain.

A reporting menu "Employee Skills" shows the recorded employee skills as a bar graph and as a pivot table, grouped by employee, skill and level, so you can compare competencies across the company. A separate "Employees" action lists employees filtered on their skills.

Access rights: all internal users can read skills and employee skills; HR managers can create, edit and delete skills; HR users can create, edit and delete employee skill records.
