auto_awesome What this module does
AI-generated from the code · Odoo 14.0Lets you create one or more RMAs (return authorizations) directly from an Italian delivery note (DDT), and shows an RMA smart button on the delivery note to jump to the returns created from it.
This module connects Italian delivery notes (DDT) with the RMA return process. On a delivery note that is confirmed, done or invoiced, a "Create RMA" button opens a wizard where you pick, for each line, the product, quantity, unit of measure, the delivery transfer and the requested operation. The wizard only offers products, transfers and moves that actually belong to that delivery note, and the RMA location defaults to the warehouse's RMA location. Accepting the wizard creates the RMAs and opens them.
On the delivery note form a smart button shows how many RMAs exist and opens them (a single RMA opens its form, several open a filtered list). The delivery note also gains a required warehouse field, and refunds generated from its RMAs are linked back to the delivery note as invoices.
Customers can also request returns from the portal: the delivery note portal page gets a "Request RMAs" button and a form where they choose a delivery address, quantities, operations and comments. The form blocks submission until at least one line has a quantity and an operation, and the created RMAs are subscribed to the customer with notifications.
On the RMA form, the delivery note, delivery order, move and product fields are filtered to what the selected delivery note allows.
