auto_awesome What this module does
AI-generated from the code · Odoo 15.0Track purchase guarantees (bid bonds, performance bonds, advance payment guarantees) linked to Purchase Agreements, RFQs and Purchase Orders, and turn them into customer invoices or vendor bills.
This module adds a Guarantee document used in Thai government purchasing. From a Purchase Agreement, a Request for Quotation or a Purchase Order you get a "Guarantee" smart button showing how many guarantees exist and letting you create or open them.
Each guarantee records a reference document, a guarantee method, a partner, a guarantee type, an amount, a receive date, a document reference, a due date and a return date. Guarantee methods are configurable and can be set as the default for Purchase Agreement, Request for Quotation or Purchase Order; the method is then proposed automatically and also determines the accounting account used. Guarantee types (for example Cheque/Draft, Cash, Bank Guarantee, Thai Government Bond, Collateral, Electronic Guarantee) can be flagged as "Create Invoice ?".
When a guarantee type requires an invoice, the guarantee can be selected on a customer invoice, and the invoice lines are generated automatically from the guarantee amount, account and analytic information. On a vendor bill you can select a return guarantee whose original invoice is already paid; the bill lines are copied from that invoice, and when the payment is registered the return date is filled in automatically.
Guarantees show received and returned amounts computed from linked invoices and bills, and the form has buttons to jump to those invoices and bills. A sequence numbers guarantees with the prefix PG. Chatter and activities are available for follow-up.
