Partner Company Group

This module does not add new fields or business rules by itself. It is a packaging module: it depends on three other modules that already provide the company group functionality for accounting, CRM and sales, and it makes sure the related views are properly registered under this module's name.

What it changes in Odoo:

• The contact form and the contact search filter are linked so the company group can be seen and used when working with contacts.
• The filter used on opportunities (CRM) is linked, so users can search and group leads/opportunities by company group.
• The filter used on sales orders is linked, so users can search and group sale orders by company group.
• The invoice filter is linked, so users can search and group invoices by company group.
• An action to open the members of a company group is also linked from the contact views.

In practice, the actual field, the propagation of the company group from a company to its contacts, and the search/group-by options come from the dependency modules (account_partner_company_group, crm_partner_company_group, sale_partner_company_group). This module only ensures those views and actions are available together under the Partner Company Group module, so installing it gives you the complete set of company group features across contacts, CRM, sales and invoicing.
