POS Sales Reports by Category only

This module extends the daily sales reports of the Point of Sale. When the option is active, the report no longer lists each product sold; it only shows one line per product category with the quantity and total amount, plus a grand total.

Where it appears: - In Point of Sale settings, a new "Reports" section contains the checkbox "Sales Report by Category only?". - The setting is stored per point of sale (pos.config), so each shop can choose its own behaviour. - The change affects the daily sales report screen and the printed receipt-style report generated from a POS session.

Business rules and behaviour: - The option is enabled by default when the module is installed. - When enabled, the report shows a table with columns Product Category, Quantity and Total, followed by a total row. - When disabled, the report keeps the original layout with each product line, its internal reference, unit of measure, discount and total. - The same choice applies to refunded products. - The report data is computed by report.point_of_sale.report_saledetails, which passes the setting to the report template.
