Product Manufacturer

This module adds a new "Manufacturer" block on the product form, inside the General Information tab. It lets users store, for a product, the manufacturer as a contact record, together with the manufacturer's own product name, product code and product web page (the URL is shown as a clickable link).

• The manufacturer is chosen from contacts, and the search is oriented towards suppliers.
• The four manufacturer fields are available both on the product template and on each product variant.

Business behaviour: when a product has only one variant, the values entered on the product form are automatically copied to that variant, and values changed on the variant are reflected back on the product form. If a product has several variants, the manufacturer information on the product form is left empty, because it cannot be tied to a single variant; the information is then managed per variant.

The module only touches the product area (product.template and product.product). It does not add menus, reports, emails or scheduled actions; the only visible change is the extra section on the existing product form.
