Product Multi Code

This module adds a new list of Internal References on products and product templates, so a single product can be found under more than one code.

• On a product form (and on the product variant quick-edit screen) you see a new editable table of Internal References, where you can add, reorder and remove codes. The standard Internal Reference field becomes read-only and always shows the first code of the list.
• On a product template form the same table appears when the template has only one variant; templates with several variants keep the standard behaviour.
• Codes must be unique: if you try to save a code that already exists on another product, Odoo blocks it with an error naming the product that already uses it. Each code must be linked to a product or a template.
• Searching products by Internal Reference also finds products through any of their extra codes, both in the product search view and in the stock product search.
• When the module is installed, existing single internal references are automatically copied into the new list. Only users in the new "Manager product multi code" group can create, change or delete these codes; other users can only read them.
