Project Status

This module lets you define your own list of project statuses and assign one to each project. Statuses are managed from a new "Project Statuses" menu under the Project configuration menu, where you can create, edit and reorder them (drag handle), give each a name, a description, mark it as a closed status, and mark it as folded.

On the project form, the status appears as a clickable status bar in the header, so you can move a project from one status to another directly. The simplified project creation form asks for a status (required), and the project list shows the status column. The project kanban view is grouped by status by default and displays the status next to each card.

In the project search filters you get "Not Closed" and "Closed" filters, plus a "Status" grouping option, so you can quickly list active or finished projects. Three statuses are pre-loaded: Pending, In Progress and Complete.

Statuses are company-aware: each status can belong to a company, and a multi-company rule limits which statuses users see. Project users can read statuses; project managers can create, edit and delete them. A project cannot be deleted while a status is still used on it.
