Stock Barcodes GS1 Expiry

This module works together with the barcode scanning screens used in stock operations (receipts, deliveries, internal transfers) and with the product expiry feature. When a user scans a GS1 barcode that contains an expiry date (application identifier 17) or a best-before/preferred consumption date (application identifier 15), the scanned date is captured and stored on the scanning wizard.

When the lot or serial number is created or updated from the scan, the captured dates are written to the lot. If only the expiry date is read, the best-before date is calculated by subtracting the product's 'use time' in days. If only the best-before date is read, the expiry date is calculated by adding the product's 'use time'. From the expiry date, the module also computes the removal date (expiry minus the product's removal time) and the alert date (expiry minus the product's alert time).

Clearing the lot information on the scanning screen also clears the captured expiry and best-before dates. The two date fields are added to the barcode scanning form but are hidden from the user, so they work in the background.
