UoM Category Active

This module adds an archive option to Unit of Measure (UoM) categories, so you can hide categories you no longer use without deleting them.

Where it appears in Odoo: - On the UoM category form, a new checkbox labelled active is shown next to the category name. - When a category is archived, a red "Archived" ribbon appears on its form. - In the UoM category search view, a new "Archived" filter lets you list only the archived categories.

Automatic behaviour: - If you create a category with the active checkbox unchecked, all units of measure belonging to that category are automatically archived as well. - If you later uncheck the active box on an existing category, the same happens: every unit of measure in that category is archived.

It touches the uom.category model by adding the active field, and it affects the related units of measure through the uom_ids link. No new menus, reports, emails or scheduled jobs are added.
