Wildcard in advanced search

This module extends the advanced search filters available in Odoo's search bar for text (char) fields. When a user opens the advanced search and picks a text field, the list of comparison operators now includes extra choices beyond the standard ones.

The new operators are: - "starts with": finds records whose field begins with the typed text. - "doesn't start with": excludes records whose field begins with the typed text. - "ends with": finds records whose field ends with the typed text. - "doesn't end with": excludes records whose field ends with the typed text. - "matches": finds records whose field contains the typed text anywhere.

These options appear directly in the search filter dropdown, so no new menu or screen is created. The module only changes the behaviour of the search bar; it does not add any database fields, reports, emails or scheduled actions. It works on any screen that uses the standard search view, such as list views of customers, products, invoices or any other model with text fields. The search is case-insensitive, so typing lower or upper case letters returns the same results. The module depends on the web module and loads its behaviour through the backend assets.
