Leave Request Wizard

This module adds a new guided screen for creating leave requests, available from the My Leaves menu as "New Request Wizard".

In the wizard you pick the employee, a description, the leave type, and a start and end date. Odoo then automatically builds a list of days between those dates. For each day it looks at the employee's working calendar and creates the actual working intervals, so non-working time is left out.

Depending on the leave type, the wizard shows either days or hours: - For day-based leave types you see one line per day with requested and available days. - For hour-based leave types you see one line per working interval with requested and available hours.

You can type the requested days or hours and the wizard recalculates the percentage of the interval that is being taken. It also shows totals for requested and available time, and days with no available time are greyed out.

When you press Submit, the wizard creates the actual leave requests in Odoo. If a whole interval is requested, consecutive intervals are merged into a single request; otherwise separate requests are created, each numbered in its description.

The module also adjusts the standard leave form so that, once a leave is saved, the From and To dates are shown as read-only text instead of editable fields.
