Hazard

This module adds a hazard register to your management system. Users create hazard records with a name, a type, the hazard itself, its origin, the department concerned, a responsible person and an analysis date. Probability and severity can be picked from the risk values provided by the risk module, and an occupation/usage can be selected. A simple "acceptability" checkbox marks whether the hazard is accepted, and a free-text justification field explains the decision.

Each hazard form has tabs for Analysis, Control Measures and Implementation Tests. Control measures list what is done to reduce the hazard, with a responsible person and comments. Implementation tests list checks with a responsible person, a review date and an "executed" flag. Both are entered directly on the hazard and are removed if the hazard is deleted. A message history is available on the hazard form.

Hazards are reached from the Management System menu; configuration menus for Hazards, Origins, Types and Occupations / Usages are available to managers. Lists can be searched and grouped by accepted status or type. Reference data (hazard, origin, type, usage) is company-specific, and multi-company rules keep records within the allowed companies. Regular users can read reference data and create or edit hazards but cannot delete them; managers have full rights.
