Product Configurator Manufacturing

This module brings the product configurator into the Manufacturing area. On a Manufacturing Order you get a "Configure" button (also on the list and kanban views) that opens the configuration wizard, and a "Reconfigure" button on draft orders to change the options of an already configured product.

• Manufacturing Orders show a "Configurable" flag taken from the product, a link to the configuration session and a "Custom Values" tab listing the chosen attributes and attachments.
• When the configuration is confirmed, the system creates or updates the Manufacturing Order, links it to the configuration session and attaches the correct bill of materials.
• If no bill of materials can be found for the selected product, the wizard stops with an error asking you to contact the administrator or manager.
• Bills of materials also carry a "Configurable" flag, and their component lines can be linked to a "Configuration Set".
• Configuration Sets are maintained in a dedicated screen, reachable from the Manufacturing > Bills of Materials menu and from the configurable products settings; each set contains configurations made of attribute values.
• When a variant is created, the module builds a specific bill of materials for it, copying the relevant component lines from the parent bill of materials and copying its operations.
• A new security group "Products & BOMS" controls access to these configuration screens.
