Product Configurator Manufacturing Components

This module extends Bills of Materials (BoM) so that configurable products can be used as components. On a BoM for a configurable product, a new "Configurable Components" tab appears where you can list configurable products and the quantity and unit of measure needed for each.

• The list of products you can choose from is filtered automatically: only configurable products whose attributes and values are compatible with the BoM's own product are offered, and products already used as configurable components are excluded.
• In the BoM components list, a warning icon appears next to a component that is set as configurable but has no specific variant chosen yet.
• You can also filter BoMs by configurable component.

When a product configuration is confirmed, the system looks for the matching master BoM and, for each configurable component line, checks whether the selected attribute values satisfy the component's required attributes. If they do, it creates or reuses the corresponding component variant, records the configuration set, and adds a BoM line for that variant with the configured quantity. If a required attribute is missing, that component is skipped.

The module touches mrp.bom, mrp.bom.line, the new mrp.bom.line.config model, and the product configuration session (product.config.session). Access to the new configuration lines is limited to product configurator managers.
