This module computes the amount of packages a picking out should have depending on the weight of the products and the limit fixed by the carrier. It's fully independent of the delivery_package_number module. A warning is given if the number of packages for the picking out is above what is considered as the theoretical number of packages for this picking and the chosen carrier. This module enables you to add delivery fees independently of regular shipping charges. These fees are invoiced separately and may have different tax implications.

This glue module integrates delivery fees with customer deposits. It keeps the regular delivery fee behavior for standard deliveries while avoiding extra fees when a delivery only moves products that are already in the customer's deposit.

This module hides free delivery lines from Sales reports. These lines are not invoiceable, therefore not added in invoices.

This module recovers the number of packages field that was present in previous versions of Odoo, that can be either be set manually by the user, but also allows to be computed when the delivery packages flow is used. This field can be used by delivery carrier extensions that need such info to rate the shipment, print the labels, etc.

When creating a delivery package and associating a package type, the number of parcels of the package will be initialized from the delivery package type.
