Management System - Claim

This module adds a Claims area to the Management System menu where you can record and follow up customer or vendor claims. Each claim gets an automatic reference number and a stage (Draft, Pending, Open, Close, Cancel) shown as a status bar on the form.

• The claim form holds the reporter, responsible user, priority, type, deadline, description, root causes and resolution actions, plus a full message history.
• A list view highlights claims by colour: pending ones in blue, closed or cancelled ones greyed out, and overdue ones in red.
• A calendar view shows claims by their activity deadline, coloured by responsible user.
• The search view offers filters for Current and Pending claims and grouping by partner, responsible, type, stage, claim date, deadline and closure date.
• When a claim is created, an email is automatically sent to the responsible user with a direct link to the claim.
• A daily scheduled job checks claims that are not closed and whose deadline is 10 days away, and emails a reminder to the responsible user.
• On a customer record, a button shows how many management claims are linked to that customer (including child contacts) and opens the filtered list.
• Claim stages can be configured and linked to sales teams, and a multi-company rule keeps claims visible only within the allowed companies.
