Modules in the repository

  • base_search_mail_content

Lets users search any record that uses Odoo chatter (like tasks, tickets or issues) by the content of its messages, notes and emails, not just by the record's own fields.

  • base_user_signature

Adds a digital signature field to user records so each user can draw and save their own signature, visible and editable on their user form and personal preferences.

  • fetchmail_incoming_test

Lets administrators simulate an incoming email or replay a raw .eml file directly from the Incoming Mail Server screen, so mail-driven flows (tickets, leads, tasks) can be tested without a real mail server.

  • mail_activity_board

Adds an activity board to Odoo that shows all scheduled activities in list, kanban, calendar, pivot and graph views. Users can open the related document directly from an activity and filter activities by deadline, user or origin.

  • mail_activity_dashboard

Adds an Activities entry to the Dashboards menu that opens a dashboard of mail activities, with kanban, list, form, calendar, pivot and graph views.

  • mail_activity_done

Keeps completed activities in Odoo so they can be reviewed later. It turns on the "keep done activities" option for every existing and new activity type.

  • mail_activity_future_counter

Adds a second badge on the activity clock icon in the top navigation bar showing how many activities are planned for the future, separate from the existing badge for overdue and today's activities.

  • mail_activity_plan_domain

Adds a filter field to activity plans and to each activity line inside a plan, so a plan is only offered for records that match, and only the relevant activities are created for each record.

  • mail_activity_reminder

Lets you set automatic reminder emails for activity types, so users get notified a chosen number of days before an activity's deadline.

  • mail_activity_team

Lets you group users into activity teams and assign activities to a whole team instead of a single person. Team members can see and handle the team's activities, and can be notified when a team activity is created.

  • mail_attach_existing_attachment

When sending an email from an Odoo record, you can tick existing attachments already stored on that record so they are included in the message, instead of uploading them again.

  • mail_attach_existing_attachment_account

When sending an invoice or credit note by email, you can tick existing attachments already stored on that document so they are included in the email, instead of uploading them again.

  • mail_attachment_xml_preview

When you open an XML attachment in Odoo (like an electronic invoice or bank statement), it is now shown as an indented, collapsible tree instead of a single line of raw text.

  • mail_autogenerated_header

Marks Odoo's outgoing emails as autogenerated so other mail servers don't send vacation replies, and ignores incoming auto-replies to prevent mail loops.

  • mail_autosubscribe

Lets you mark contacts so they are automatically added in copy of the business documents of their company, such as invoices or other records, without adding them manually each time.

  • mail_chatter_split

Adds filter buttons above the chatter to show only user messages, system logs, or planned activities, and remembers your last selected view while you navigate.

  • mail_composer_cc_bcc

Adds separate Cc and Bcc fields to the email composer, email templates, company settings and sent messages, so users can send copies and blind copies without mixing them into the main recipients list.

  • mail_composer_cc_bcc_mail_tracking

Shows who received each sent message in the chatter, splitting recipients into To, Cc and Bcc. Administrators can choose whether the split is shown by default and whether users may switch between the single 'To' line and the full split.

  • mail_debrand

Removes Odoo branding from emails sent by Odoo, deleting 'Powered by Odoo' links and other odoo.com references from message bodies and templates.

  • mail_drop_target

Drag email files (.eml or .msg) from your desktop directly onto an Odoo record or Discuss channel to attach them as messages. Followers can optionally be kept from being notified about the dropped email.

  • mail_extra_header

Lets you add custom email headers to every message sent through a specific outgoing mail server, configured directly on the server form.

  • mail_force_email_notification

This module lets Odoo force certain messages to be sent by email instead of as in-app notifications, by using a special context setting. It is a technical helper with no new screens or menus.

  • mail_forward

Lets users forward a chatter message from any document to another record's conversation, notifying that record's followers without adding them as followers of the original document.

  • mail_gateway

This module is the base for connecting external chat systems (like Telegram or WhatsApp) to Odoo. It lets a team chat with customers inside Odoo while messages travel through the external chat service.

  • mail_gateway_telegram

Connect Odoo to Telegram so a team can chat with Telegram users from Odoo and reply as a bot. Messages, photos, files, stickers and locations are exchanged automatically between Telegram chats and Odoo conversations.

  • mail_inline_css

This module automatically converts CSS styles written in a style block inside email templates into inline styles, so emails look correct in most email clients. It works on templates stored directly in the database.

  • mail_layout_force

Force a specific email layout on selected email templates or on all emails sent for chosen models, replacing the layout Odoo normally picks automatically.

  • mail_layout_preview

Preview email templates in the browser without the Odoo backend theme, so you see exactly what recipients will get. A new link in the email template preview window opens the full layout preview.

  • Mail Message SearchOdoo 17, 18, 19
    mail_message_search

Adds a 'Message Search' field to the search screens of every record type that uses the chatter, so users can find records by words contained in their messages' subject, body, sender or reply-to.

  • mail_no_user_assign_notification

Lets administrators list specific models where assigning a user should not automatically subscribe that user to the record, stopping unwanted assignment notifications.

  • mail_notification_clean_status_error

Extends Odoo's automatic notification cleanup so that failed email notifications (bounced or in error) are also deleted, not just the successfully sent ones.

  • mail_notification_custom_subject

Lets you define templates that change the subject line of notification emails sent by Odoo, based on the record type and message subtype.

  • mail_notification_link

Makes the document name in messaging menu notifications clickable, so users can jump straight to the related record (for example a sales order or purchase order) instead of only opening the chatter.

  • mail_notification_sound_volume

Lets each user set the volume of Odoo notification sounds from their Preferences, with a slider and a test button. The chosen volume is saved and used for chat and inbox notification sounds.

  • mail_notify_employee_leave

When you mention or assign a colleague who is out of office, Odoo sends you a note telling you they are absent and when they are expected back. Each user is warned only once per day per absent employee.

  • mail_optional_autofollow

Adds a checkbox to the Odoo email composer so you can decide whether the extra recipients of a message are automatically added as followers of the record you are writing on.

  • mail_optional_follower_notification

Lets you decide, when sending a message from Odoo, whether the document's followers should be notified. A company-wide default can be set, and each message can override it.

  • mail_outbound_static

Lets you set a fixed "Email From" address and an allowed-domains list on each outgoing mail server, so Odoo rewrites the sender address when the original sender's domain is not approved.

  • mail_partner_forwarding

Lets you pick a "Forwarding Partner" on a contact or user so that messages and notifications addressed to that contact are also sent to the chosen partner.

  • mail_partner_opt_out

Adds a button on the contact form that puts the contact's email address on the blacklist, so that person stops receiving mass mailing emails from Odoo.

  • mail_post_defer

This module makes outgoing emails and notifications wait about 30 seconds in the queue before being sent, so Odoo stays fast and you can still cancel or edit a message you just posted.

  • mail_print

Adds a "Print Message" option to the chatter of any Odoo document, letting users print a single message as a PDF with its subject, date, sender, recipients and body.

  • mail_quoted_reply

Adds a Reply button to messages in Odoo so users can answer a customer message directly from the chatter, with the original message quoted and the subject prefixed with "Re:".

  • mail_recipient_blocklist

Lets administrators create rules that stop Odoo from sending emails to unwanted recipients, such as specific addresses, whole domains or patterns. Blocked recipients are removed from outgoing messages, and emails addressed only to blocked people are cancelled.

  • mail_restrict_follower_selection

Restrict which contacts can be picked as followers on records, using a configurable filter. It also silently drops followers that do not match the filter when they are added.

  • mail_restrict_send_button

Hides the Send Message button in the chatter area unless the user belongs to the new "Allowed" group. This lets administrators control who can post messages from the chatter.

  • mail_send_confirmation

Adds a confirmation pop-up before sending a chatter message, so users do not accidentally send an internal note or message to external followers.

  • mail_sent_history

Adds a "Sent History" mailbox to the Discuss app so users can see and search all the messages and notes they have personally sent.

  • mail_show_follower

Adds a visible block at the top of outgoing emails listing the document followers who received the message, so recipients know who else got it and that replies go to everyone.

  • mail_suggested_recipient_unchecked

When you open the chatter to send a message, the extra recipients Odoo suggests (such as a lead's customer or a task's contact) are no longer ticked by default, so you must choose them yourself.

  • mail_template_domain

Lets you restrict a mail template so it only appears in the email composer when the record you are emailing matches a condition you define. Templates without a restriction keep showing for all records.

  • mail_template_substitute

Lets you attach substitution rules to an email template so that, when the selected records match a condition, a different template is used automatically. Useful for sending alternate templates per company or per record type.

  • Email trackingOdoo 18, 19
    mail_tracking

Adds email tracking to Odoo: every outgoing email gets a tracking record, and the chatter shows per-recipient status (sent, delivered, opened, bounced, error). Users can also see failed messages and a partner's email reputation score.

  • mail_tracking_mailgun

Connect Odoo to Mailgun so sent emails are tracked automatically: delivery, opens, clicks, bounces and spam complaints are recorded, and you can check or force a contact's email status from the partner form.

  • mail_tracking_mass_mailing

Connects mass mailing statistics with detailed email tracking, so you can see opens, clicks and bounces per mailing and per contact, and automatically flag bounced contacts.

  • outgoing_email_by_model

Lets administrators choose a specific outgoing mail server and sender email address for each model in Odoo. These settings apply automatically to emails sent from records of that model.
